President’s Letter: September 2011

Welcome fellow Jackets!

Welcome to the first edition of Georgia Tech’s young alumni newsletter, GT GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade). I hope you enjoy the read and find it both informative and entertaining. Our goal for this newsletter is to keep young alumni connected with each other and the Institute, and to demonstrate the benefits of Tech’s alumni network in a more personal manner, without imploring you for donations.

Every month, GT GOLD will provide a calendar of upcoming alumni events that might appeal to you, Tech’s most recent graduates. In addition to promoting particular events, we’ll also focus on exciting things young alumni are doing across the globe. This edition features Joe Depa (IE 05) and Colleen Coyle (EAS 08).

If you have suggestions or features you would like to see in the future, please let us know. In fact, if there are any particular events or activities you’d like to see from the Alumni Association, we here on the Young Alumni Council welcome your thoughts and ideas, as we strive to better meet the needs of young alumni the world over.

Up with the White and Gold!
Brandon J. Kearse
Young Alumni Council, President
